China Energy Conservation and Environmental??Protection Group (CECEP) is a central enterprise founded in 2010 after??the merger between China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation and??China New Era Group Corporation with the approval of China’s State??Council.
As a centrally-administered state-owned enterprise??specializing in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP??has stayed true to our mission of “conserving resources and protecting??the environment” since our founding, making significant contributions to??the emergence, development and growth of China’s energy conservation??and environmental protection industries.
At present, CECEP boasts more than 700??subsidiaries, including seven listed companies. Our business has??expanded across China and beyond, radiating to 110 countries and regions??around the world. With a “3+3+1” business structure, namely three main??segments (energy conservation and clean energy supply, ecological??environmental protection, and life and health), three green businesses??(green building, green new materials, and green engineering services),??and strong strategic support capabilities, CECEP has emerged as a??flagship enterprise in China’s energy saving and environmental??protection field with the largest scale, the most complete range of??solutions, the widest coverage, and the strongest competitiveness.
In recent years, CECEP has developed advantages??across the whole industry chain of energy conservation and environmental??protection from planning and consulting to R&D and design,??investment and development, equipment manufacturing, engineering??construction, operation and management, and investment and financing??services. Our business basically covers all segments of energy??conservation and environmental protection, enabling us to provide energy??and environmental solutions for the green development of a region or a??river basin.
In the new era, CECEP has resolutely implemented??the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, actively??participated in major national strategic missions such as Great??Protection of the Yangtze River, coordinated development of Beijing,??Tianjin and Hebei, construction of Xiong’an New Area, integrated??development of the Yangtze River Delta, ecological protection of the??Yellow River Basin, high-quality economic development, construction of??the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and construction of the??Hainan National Ecological Civilization Pilot Zone, and taken an active??part in the Belt and Road construction. In May 2018, CECEP was??designated by the leading group office for promoting the development of??the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the main platform for pollution??control in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
